Lou, with over 25 years of experience in retirement and financial planning is a frequent speaker at retirement planning seminars. He received a BA in Economics from Wofford College and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
In 1984 Lou founded Pension & Financial Services, Inc. which services over 250 qualified retirement plans for regional businesses. To expand and to assure the continuity of services, in 2005 Lou formed an affiliated planning group of financial planners which is now known as PFG Advisors.
Lou has earned the industry certifications and designations of: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC).
Since 1992, Lou has continuously achieved the top honor of Chairman’s Council for his financial services within the community. In 2008, he received the Legacy Award from Lincoln Financial Advisors in recognition of his leadership within the financial industry. The Resource Group, a national group of financial planners who are registered with Lincoln Financial Advisors, named Lou a lifetime member in 2009.
Lou served as a Trustee in his church for 6 years and is active in many community and charitable organizations. He enjoys sports and spent 17 years as a volunteer in the local community sports programs for boys and girls as a coach and a member of the Board.
Lou and his wife Linda live in Treddyfrin Township and have 3 children.
